In-Service Training (INSET)

The In-Service Training (INSET) is a program mandated by the GASTPE Law (R.A. 8545) that emphasizes the need for the DepEd to implement programs improve the quality of education the country by maximizing the use of resources in the private education sector.

Sec. 12 of R.A. 8545 provides the INSET Fund for the purpose of improving the quality of teaching in the private secondary education and to provide for the upgrading of content and teaching competencies in critical subject areas and for innovative teaching techniques and strategies, to include multimedia and other technologies to assist instruction.

PEAC to conduct JHS and SHS INSET for administrators in August-December

The PEAC will conduct additional runs of the DepEd-PEAC Institute for Private Junior High School Administrators and Executive Course for Education Leaders (ExCEL) for private senior high school administrators.

The PEAC is accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider. Participants of the training conducted by PEAC earn credit units for the renewal of licenses of professional teachers.

All those who are interested to attend the additional runs of the Institute for Private Junior High School Administrators should register online at on July 12, 2018. The organizers reserve the right to decline walk-in participants in view of the design and logistical requirements of the workshop. The registration fee covers four (4) meals, eight (8) snacks and a seminar kit.
