The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), in partnership with Estrada and Aquino Law (EA Law), successfully conducted WirEd 3.0: Student Data Privacy Tool-kit: Building Data Privacy Compliance Program on December 5, 2019 at Diamond Hotel Philippines in Manila with 339 participants from 247 institutions nationwide.
WirEd 3.0 is a one-day seminar-workshop on data privacy for schools developed by EA Law which focuses on creating a privacy framework for operations, policies, and rules, which are measurable and auditable, that will ensure that the school meets its legal and ethical obligations to protect student privacy and which can provide parents and students the evidence to demonstrate that the program operates as designed.
The PEAC and EA Law are pleased to announce the second run of WirEd 3.0 on February 22, 2020 at N Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City.
This seminar-workshop is open to school leaders and administrators, faculty and staff who may be involved in developing and implementing their school’s data privacy policies and guidelines compliant with the law. Participants of WirEd 3.0 who are licensed professional teachers can earn 6 CPD credit units.
