The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) and Marshall Cavendish Institute (MCI) of Singapore, in partnership with Principals Academy Inc (PAI), will deliver a professional development program for K to 12 school leaders and administrators in the Philippines this SY 2019-2020.

MCI is a global teacher professional development institute that provides comprehensive, cutting-edge teacher education programmes for teachers looking to improve their classroom practice. As a global teacher professional development institute, MCI ensures that their academic team is constantly engaged in research to develop programs that are relevant to education trends and attending to the diverse needs of educators around the world.

PAI was established in response to Singapore Government’s vision of developing the nation into a thriving international education hub. The work of PAI revolves around the provision of professional development, accreditation, consultancy and enrichment to educators and learners alike.

PEAC and MCI signed the Memorandum of Agreement for the Leadership Academy on May 10, 2019 at Times Centre in Singapore. Present during the MOA signing were: (from L to R) Mr. Jose Maria T. Ferrer, Executive Director of PEAC; Ms. Diana Hon, Assistant General Manager of MCI for Professional Development; and Mr. Terence Ng, Area Director for International Sales.

 

Mr. Cheng-Poh Yeoh, MCE General Manager for Commercial and Strategic Partnerships and Ms. Rhodora Angela F. Ferrer, PEAC Executive Director, sign the Memorandum of Agreement for the PEAC-Marshall Cavendish Leadership Academy.

The PEAC-Marshall Cavendish Leadership Academy is a two-day training consisting of three modules on school leadership and management. The modules include The Ethical Leader, The Visionary Leader, and The Organizational Leader.

The PEAC is accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provider. Participants of the PEAC-MC Leadership Academy, who are licensed teachers, can earn credit units for the renewal of their licenses. Participants will also earn a certification from the Principals Academy Inc.
