2019 PHILED CONFERENCE TO HIGHLIGHT ROLE OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN DEVELOPING PHILIPPINE EDUCATION

Organized by PEAC, the 2019 PhilEd conference will bring together educators, policymakers, education leaders and experts to discuss policies and practices that are responsive to the needs of learners and schools for the development of Philippine education. The conference will be held on December 3-4, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

PEAC SUPPORTS THE 2019 CEAP NATIONAL CONVENTION

Through its ASPIRE program, PEAC supported the 2019 CEAP National Convention which was held last September 25-27, 2019 at the Iloilo Convention Center, Iloilo City. CEAP is one of the largest educational associations in the country with more than 1,400 member-schools. With the theme, “Missio: Yes, YOUth can!” the convention explored the role of Catholic educators in accompanying and empowering the youth in their journey towards discerning their vocation and mission in life.

PEAC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FERRER DELIVERS KEYNOTE ADDRESS AT CEAP SUPCOM ANNUAL ASSEMBLY

Ms. Rhodora Angela F. Ferrer, PEAC Executive Director, was the keynote speaker at the annual assembly of the CEAP Superintendents Commission last September 22, 2019 at the District 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.

PEAC DEVELOPS THE CERTIFICATION READINESS TRAINING PROGRAM AND THE CERTIFICATION SYSTEM

In line with the rollout of the 2018 Certification Assessment Instrument (2018 CAI), the PEAC developed the PEAC-Certification Readiness Training (PEAC-CeRT) program to assist private junior high schools as they craft their Standards-based School Improvement Plans or SSIP as part of the preparations for the recertification visits.
