PEAC Strategic Plan 2027-2030

Laying the Groundwork for PEAC Strategic Plan 2027-2030

On October 19–20, 2026, the PEAC and its National Secretariat led by Executive Director Doris Fernandez Ferrer convened at Holiday Inn & Suites Batangas Limapark to participate in the Strategic Planning sessions facilitated by Don Brodeth of the Taft Consulting Group that laid the groundwork for developing the PEAC Strategic Plan 2027-2030.

Discussions on understanding the changing Philippine education landscape were enriched by presentations given by Congressman Jude Acidre, Chairperson of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education and EDCOM II Commissioner, and Dr. Vicente K. Fabella, President of Jose Rizal University. Insights were also shared by members of the PEAC or their representatives, namely Marco Alfredo M. Benitez, PACU President; Sr. Marissa R. Viri, RVM, representing Fr. Karel S. San Juan, SJ, CEAP President; and Bishop Elorde M. Sambat, representing Dr. Irineo G. Alvaro, Jr., ACSCU President, to integrate the perspectives from the private education sector.

During the second day, the PEAC National Secretariat Management Team and staff engaged in a collective reflection on the organization’s current strategic directions, accomplishments, and continuing challenges. The process provided an opportunity to assess the relevance of PEAC’s existing priorities against the evolving needs of private education and the broader education sector.

Building on its Strategic Plan 2024-2027, the PEAC moves forward with a shared commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation in advancing private education and improving learning opportunities for Filipino learners.
