PEAC and Rex Education award scholarship grants to the first batch of Edukampyon Iskolars

 

With joy, pride, and high hopes, PEAC and Rex Education awarded scholarship grants to the first batch of Edukampyon Iskolars on 27 July 2022.

Ms. Doris Ferrer, PEAC Executive Director, and Mr. Don Timothy Buhain, CEO of Rex Education, awarded the Certificate of Recognition to Ateneo de Naga University and Capitol University as partner institutions. Dr. Ester Ogena, the 10th President of Philippine Normal University and former Director of the Science Education Institute of the Department of Science and Technology, is the Project Head of PEAC-REX Edukampyon Iskolar Para Sa Kinabukasan.

Fr. Roberto Exequiel N. Rivera, SJ, the University President of Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU), presented 11 scholars and Dr. Fe R. Juarez, Executive Vice President of Capitol University (CU), presented 3 scholars. The scholars are scheduled to enroll in teacher education programs at ADNU and CU and will major in Science and Mathematics.

The PEAC-REX Edukampyon awarding of scholarship grants was also attended by four of its members in the Advisory Group composed of the following: Former Usec. Diosdado M. San Antonio, DepEd Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction; Commissioner Aldrin A. Darilag, PhD, RMT, RN of CHED; Judge Benjamin D. Turgano, ACSCU President; Ms. Jeanne F. Tordesillas, Chief Marketing Officer of Rex Education; and Dr. Chito Salazar, President of PHINMA Education and PBEd (not in photo).
