PEAC-REX STEER

The PEAC, in partnership with Rex Education, issues the guidelines of the Support for Transformational Educators for Empowerment and Reform (STEER) for school year 2023-2024. STEER is a program that supports the professional development initiatives of eligible private schools through a partnership with Rex Education’s EDUKAMPYON Innovation Masters for Teacher Professional Development.

The EDUKAMPYON Innovation Masters for Teacher Professional Development aims to encourage schools to develop school-based teacher professional development program models along the following areas:

  • Innovative use of technology for personalized and flexible approaches to learning;
  • Innovative pedagogy for enhanced student engagement and assessing learning outcomes;
  • Innovative strategies for promoting learner and teacher resilience and well-being for achieving whole school outcomes.

The program is open to all accredited private schools and certified ESC program participating schools (i.e., received a rating of 3 or 4 in the PEAC JHS Certification). Those interested should read the guidelines and send their requirements to [email protected] and indicate “STEER 2023-2024 Application – [Name of School]” as subject of the email. The PEAC National Secretariat will accept applications until May 3, 2024.
