The PEAC organized the Annual Assembly of the GASTPE Regional Program Committees (RPComs) last April 11, 2025 at the Makati Diamond Residences, Makati City where officials from the DepEd Central Office, the PEAC and its National Secretariat, DepEd Regional Directors, PEAC Regional Program Directors and PEAC Regional Program Coordinators gathered to discuss the implementation of the GASTPE programs in the current and following school years.
Program speakers of the assembly include Atty. Edson Byron K. Sy, Assistant Secretary and OIC-Undersecretary for Finance as designated representative of Education Secretary Sonny M. Angara; Dr. Betty C. McCann, President of the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities (ACSCU); Marco M. Benitez, President of Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU); PEAC Executive Director, Rhodora Angela Fernandez Ferrer, PhD; Asec. Roger B. Masapol, Assistant Secretary for Strategic Management; Atty. Tara C. Rama, Government Assistance and Subsidies Service (GASS); and Dr. Louie Duterte, Project Development Officer V, GASS-ODMD.
Sr. Ma. Rufina B. Guillano, RVM, Immediate Past President of Lourdes College and Sr. Ma. Evangeline L. Anastacio, SPC, President of St. Paul University Manila were also given plaques of appreciation for their commitment and service as PEAC Regional Program Directors (RPDs) for Region 10 and NCR, respectively.
