The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) in collaboration with DIWA Learning Systems, and Bato Balani Foundation Inc. (BBFI), donated PhP 16.9M worth of JHS and SHS learning resources to 130 private schools in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The first leg of the 2024 Book Donation Program was held at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University on August 14, 2024. Its turnover program was headed by the University President and PEAC Region IX Program Director, Rev. Fr. Guillrey Anthony M. Andal, SJ; PEAC Finance Officer, Ms. Maria Kharmita Lising; Region IX Program Coordinator, Ms. Annie Ebreo; and DIWA Learning Systems President, Ms. Elma Ropeta.
The donation program continued at Lourdes College, Cagayan de Oro City on August 19, 2024 led by the PEAC Executive Director, Ms. Rhodora Angela Ferrer; University President and PEAC Region X Program Director, Sister Maria Rufina B. Guillano, RVM; Region X Program Coordinator, Ms. Myrna Fantonalgo; and DIWA Learning Systems Vice President for Sales, Ms. Rhodora Acedillo.
Simultaneously, on August 19, 2024 at Notre Dame of Cotabato, Inc., the third run of the donation was headed by Region XII Program Coordinator, Dr. Evelyn Dollete; Notre Dame of Cotabato School Principal, Dr. Angela Undar and DIWA Learning Systems Executive Director for Sales, Mr. Roberto Matutina.
These activities are part of the PEAC’s initiatives and continued efforts in strengthening programs for private schools with quality and sustainable education.
