The PEAC conducted three focus group discussions via Zoom as part of the organization’s strategic planning for school year 2021-2022 to school year 2023-2024. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Karol Mark Yee, PEAC consultant.

The first session was a brainstorming workshop with educational leaders and experts last February 19, 2021. The workshop was intended to bring together a group of educators to discuss the concerns and challenges of private education, to identify opportunities for the sector, and to articulate the role of PEAC in private education development.

The other two focus group discussions were conducted last February 26, 2021 with PEAC Regional Program Directors and Regional Program Coordinators  and last March 12, 2021 with heads of private educational associations and private schools. The topics discussed were the PEAC mandate and accomplishments; the changing context of private education and of PEAC; and the concerns of private education.
